Arlene A. Brill, 84, of Chambersburg, passed away Thursday morning, September 13, 2018, after a short illness. Born September 4, 1934 in Altenwald, she was the devoted daughter of the late Alvey D. Arlene was a 1952 graduate of Waynesboro High School. She was employed as a secretary in the business office at the Public Opinion in Chambersburg until her retirement in the early 1990’s. She was a lifelong member of Solomon’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chambersburg where she served as a Sunday school teacher for over 20 years. Arlene enjoyed spending time with family, friends and neighbors. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
