Obituary for Billy Baker

Billy Baker, 77, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, January 28, 2019 at his home. Born July 10, 1941 in Pine Mountain, KY, he was a son of the late Willie and Maude Turner Baker. Billy was a 1959 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and retired from Mack Truck after 34 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Shelva J. Carbaugh Baker, whom he married June 30, 1962; son, Randy Baker and wife Julie of Waynesboro; daughter Lori Domblesky and husband David of Downingtown; and five grandchildren, Kayla Lizasuain (Anibal), Jenna Domblesky, Collin Domblesky, Kyle Baker, and Dylan Baker. He is also survived by a brother, Berry Baker; and three sisters, Mossie Sites, Jean Bumbaugh, and Mildred Wilder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2019 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Denny Sites will officiate. Interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
