Working most days out of the area often means missing the news concerning friends and acquaintances. I heard of Wendy's passing a few days too late, and I am so sorry I missed her service. Wendy was not just my beautician but a friend and at times throughout most of my adolescence and later, a close confidant and dear friend. Always ready with a smile and a good laugh at one of my jokes, she was a joy to spend time with over too-many years of my Life. She could tell a good line too, and give you that great smile of hers right back. She was someone very special to me, and my fond memories of her will never go away. She will be truly missed. My condolences to her family and those who were also close to her.
