Alan D. Reese, 71, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Chambersburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 19, 1952 in Independence, Missouri. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. Alan was a lifelong truck driver who was married to the road his whole life having traveled millions of safe miles throughout his career.
He is survived by his daughter, Leila Reese; grandchildren Riley, Madison, and Ryan; his son, Andy Gervasio and wife Ashley; his brothers Lee Cary and Terry Reese; his sister Rachel Cary; and his best friend and former spouse, Deb Hock and her extended family who he considered to be his family. He loved visits from the great nieces and nephews and enjoyed time with is Ridge Road neighbors. His most loved visit was last year when his daughter and grandkids came for an extended visit. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Larry, and sisters Judy and Susan.
It was Alan’s request that there be no service.
