Albert G. Middaugh, age 77, of Doylesburg, PA; passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 in the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Born December 2, 1934 in Doylesburg, PA, He was the son of the late George T. and Ruth Collins Middaugh.
A night shift supervisor and server for over 55 years Albert worked on the PA Turnpikes’ Blue Mountain Plaza’s Howard Johnson’s and Roy Rogers’ Restaraunts. He was a member of Doylesburg United Methodist Church, where he never missed a service for more than 30 years. His hobbies included antiquing, gardening, going to flea markets, and taking care of his award winning rose bushes.
Surviving is his niece, Sharon Robinson (husband Dennis) of Blairs Mills, PA and nephew, Tim Horn (wife Kathy) of Doylesburg, PA and great nephews, Justin Robinson of Doylesburg, PA and Ryan Robinson of Blairs Mills, PA and great nieces, Lindsey and Kristie Horn of Doylesburg, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Horn, an infant brother, Claire Middaugh, and half brother, Raymond Berrier.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11 AM in the Agett–Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Doylesburg United Methodist Church Cemetery.
