Alene Long

Alene Hoyt Long, 78, formerly of Huntington, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Born on December 1, 1936 in Lewisport, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Harvey and Mattie Jo Hodges Hoyt.
Alene is survived by her husband, James E. Long of Texas; four children, Lynn Long of Mifflin PA, James H. Long and wife Rhonda or Sugar Land, TX, Kyle C. Long, Sr. and wife Brenda of Huntingdon, PA and Susan V. Ashlin of Roxbury, PA.; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Janet Clark of Danville, AL. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Josephine Hoyt.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:30AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Interment will follow in Norland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
