At Christmas time she would bake over 100 dozen cookies for banks and other establishments. Alice and her husband Lawrence sold corn and other vegetables from the fields and garden on Edwards Avenue. She was an avid reader and bowler for many years. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, loved listening to classical music, watching game shows on TV and of course, playing Bingo. She was also a longtime member of the Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion Auxiliary.

Alice is survived by three children, Doris Eshelman, Alan Foreman (Jean), and Barbara Higgins (Daniel) all of Chambersburg; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
