Amy Reasner

Amy Sue Reasner, 53, of Gettysburg, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at UPMC Harrisburg. Born May 20, 1970, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Richard R. Reasner, Jr. (wife Phyllis J. Reasner) and the late Barbara J. Shambaugh Reasner. She is also survived by three siblings, Lori Ann Tosten (husband Thomas) of Orrstown, Robert K. Reasner of Upper Horse Valley, and Rodney A. Sprow (wife Jackie) of Genessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Early in her career, Amy was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot and served overseas twice with the Department of Defense. She was later employed with Northrop-Grumman and the FBI. She was currently employed at Letterkenny Army Depot as a Computer Security Specialist. She enjoyed shopping, Civil War history and making candles. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and her dogs, Carmel, Lincoln and Sonny.

Service and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201 or to an animal shelter of one’s choice.
