Andrew Gift

Andrew G. Gift, age 57, of Chambersburg, PA passed away unexpectedly at the Chambersburg Hospital on Monday, January 11, 2021. Born in Frederick, MD on January 2, 1964, he was the son of A. Wayne Gift and the late Dorothy A. Kessler Gift.
A 1983 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Andrew went on to serve honorably in the U. S. Army. He worked as an assembler at Letterkenny Army Depot for the last 15 years, prior to that he worked at the Former Grove Worldwide. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #801, Moose Lodge #842, and the VFW in Greencastle. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, welding, and metal fabrication.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Miley Gift, whom he married on July 13, 1985, three children, Chasidy Ott (Nathan) of Chambersburg, PA, Brittany Gift (companion Oscar Estrada) of Chambersburg, PA, and Logan Gift (companion Heather Brechbill) of Chambersburg, PA; three grandchildren, Madison Ott, Nicolas Estrada, and Natalie Ott; five siblings, Vicki Rhone (Tom), Brenda Winkler, Pamela Ambrose (Ira), Mark Gift (Rhonda), and Lisa Gift; his best friend, Kevin Bonner; and buddies, Tiger and Mellow. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his special companion, Oreo.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 10 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 6-9 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the funeral home. All CDC and PA Health Dept. guidelines will be observed. Interment will follow the service in Grindstone Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association www.heart.org.
