Andrew Larson

Andrew Wesley Larson, age 25, Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 4, 2016. Born August 26, 1990, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of Daniel J. Larson and the late Lynne D. (Hummel) Larson.
Andrew was a 2008 graduate of Cumberland Valley Christian School and a 2010 of WyoTech Institute. He was a diesel mechanic at Ritchie Well Drilling, Hollidaysburg, PA. Andrew loved music, especially playing the guitar and piano. An avid outdoorsman, Andrew especially enjoyed hunting, campfires and the beach. In addition, he liked writing, movies, sports, travelling and good food. Andrew was a member of Robinwood Church, Hagerstown MD.
In addition to his father Daniel (fiancé Lori McBeth), Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Alexis (Marquiss) Larson, whom he married on May 11, 2014; his baby, Drew, due this fall; three siblings, Tyler J. Larson, Orlando McBeth and DeiJa McBeth; paternal grandmother, Lorene Larson; maternal grandparents, Reverend Daniel and Delores Hummel; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Rev. David Larson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at 11:00 AM at the Chambersburg First Church of God, 2230 Grand Point Road, Chambersburg, PA, where Reverend Lawrence Metzler will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA from 6 – 9 PM and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service in Salem Cemetery.
