Ann K. Rotz, 62, of Shippensburg, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes in her home on Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born on May 27, 1959 in Chambersburg, to the late Athley K. Kline and Alva Upperman Kline.
Ann grew up in Chambersburg and graduated from C.A.S.H.S. with the class of 1977. For most of the last twenty years she has worked at the Target Distribution Center. Prior to that she had worked at her family’s business, the former Kline’s Typewriter Exchange in Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Marlin E. “Gene” Rotz, whom she married on August 7, 1982; two sons, Zach (wife Tish) Rotz of Fairfield and Izaak (wife Shelly) Rotz, of Shippensburg; three siblings, Athley Kline of Chambersburg, Alynne McLeod of Clayton,NC, and Alan (wife Kelly) Kline of Willards,MD; and four grandchildren whom she loved and adored, Lily Weikel, and Riley, Landyn and Kacie Rotz. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bea Kline.
A private family farewell gathering will be held in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg. Interment will be private. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Ann’s Life, to begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22, at Roy Pitz Beer Stube 140 S. Third St. Chambersburg.
