Anna Mae Bock, age 80, of Chambersburg, died Friday, December 21, 2012 at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born December 13, 1932 in Royersford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman G. and Anna B. Kulp Reid. Anna Mae was a 1950 graduate of the Royersford High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics from Juniata College in 1954. She taught Home Economics for several years at Fannett-Metal High School and later retired from the former Franklin County Vo-Tech School where she taught Textile Fabrication for eighteen years. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Martha Custis Chapter #342 Order of Eastern Star, and was a member of the Falling Spring Court #139 Order of Amaranth. Her husband, John R. Bock, whom she married June 15, 1957, preceded her in death on February 1, 2009.

She is survived two sons, David R. Bock and wife Kimberly and Duane E. Bock and wife Tammy; and six grandchildren, Rebecca, Andrew, Austin, Tyler, Aaron, and Marleena, all of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dale A. Bock, on July 8, 2009.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg with Rev. Marlin A. Neil officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, December 26, 2012 and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family requests the omission of flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to Central Presbyterian Church, 40 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA 17201, the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 2325 Country Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202, or Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County, 23 North Third Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
