Anna Coccagna

Anna Mae Coccagna, age 95, of State College, PA and formerly of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Hearthside Nursing Home in State College, PA. Born May 31, 1920, in Harrisonville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Brady and Adaline Hann Mellott.
Mrs. Coccagna worked as a receptionist for T.B. Woods Company for a number of years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, NARFE Local Chapter 1063, and St. Paul United Methodist Church.
The last of her immediate family, she is survived by her sister in laws and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gabriel J. Coccagna in 1998.
Funeral service will be held in her honor on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor Rick Noll will officiate. It was her wish that there be no viewing. Entombment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 750 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
