Anna Jane Czapp, 83, of Shippensburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born November 25, 1937 in Doylesburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hance and Mary Jane Felmlee Campbell.
Anna was a 1955 graduate of Fannett-Metal High School. She was employed at the Stanley Co. in Chambersburg and later attended Wilson College. She was most recently employed at the Coyle Free Library in Chambersburg until her retirement. Anna enjoyed reading, cross stitch, needlepoint, Sudoku puzzles and shopping.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Parson (wife Kim) of Shippensburg, and Barry Parson of Newville; five grandchildren, Vicki Durff (husband Shawn), Scott Parson (wife Kelly), Heather Lauer (husband Matthew), Eric Parson and Ryan Parson; twelve great grandchildren; and two brothers, Dick Campbell (wife Mitzi) of Chambersburg, and James Campbell of Abbottstown. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald L. Parson in 1970; her second husband, Bela T. Czapp in 1998; and two children, Timothy Parson and Katrina McClure.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
