Following a brief illness, Anna Mae Lundy, age 72, of Chambersburg, passed away in the Chambersburg Hospital on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, surrounded by her family and friends. Born on May 3, 1943 in Lackawanna County, PA, Ann was the daughter of the late William and Sophia Belson Yermal. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School with the class of 1961. Ann was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Ortanna, and she retired from a career with the U.S. Federal Government, which included positions at Letterkenny Army Depot, Fort Detrick and the U.S. Department of Energy. Affectionately known as "Grammy" to all that knew her, she will be dearly missed by her two children, Barb Kegerreis (Lance) and Rob Lundy III (Liz Cook), all of Chambersburg; grandchildren, Nate (Kate) Strickler, Elizabeth Strickler, Zac Lundy, Brynn and Sydney Kegerreis, ; and one great grandson, John Robert Strickler. She will also be greatly missed by her beloved dog, Coco. Ann was the last living member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. She was also preceded in death by her youngest son, Richard J. Lundy in May of this year. A Memorial Mass will be held on 11/21/15 at 2:00 PM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 1095 Church Road Orrtanna, PA 17353. Father Raymond J. LaVoie will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Sweet Grace Ministries, 1036 S. Fourth St., Chambersburg, PA 17201, in Grammy's honor.
