Anna Mary Suders Norcross, 86, passed away Saturday July 21, 2012 at Providence Place. She was the wife of the late Clyde “Butch” Norcross to whom she was married for fifty-four years. Born March 2, 1926 in Shippensburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Hazel Suders. Anna enjoyed cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, and traveling to visit her relatives. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her eleven children.
Anna is survived by nine of her children, Gene Norcross and wife Deb of New Jersey, Fran Bigler of North Carolina, Peggy Young and husband Glenn of York, Steven Norcross, Karen Barner, Brian Norcross, and Kirk Norcross, all of Chambersburg, Lisa Miller and husband Ervin of Harrisburg, U. Scott Norcross and partner Gloria of Carlisle; her sister, Peg Myers of Shippensburg; seventeen grandchildren, Tony, Charles, Danny, Jennifer, Corey, Mandy, Andrea, Ricki-K, Amber, Heather, Shawn, Heather, Eli, Courtney, Jeremy, Deborah, and Kathryn; and sixteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey and Douglas Norcross; her son-in-law Skip Bigler; three brothers, Chester, Johnny, and Bob Suders; her sister, Erma Henderson; two grandsons, Zachry and Kyle; and her very best friend, Sara Davis.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA.
