Annabelle Jones, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, in Clarksville, TN. Formerly of Fayetteville, PA, she most recently was residing in Hopkinsville, KY. Born August 10, 1923 in Fayetteville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob E. and Nora B. Shields Young.
Mrs. Jones was a life member of the American Legion Post 46 and VFW Post 1599 Ladies Auxiliaries, both in Chambersburg.
Surviving are two daughter, Judy A. Higginson of Santa Fe, NM and Jeanie F. Marshall (husband Darwin) of Hopkinsville, KY; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Betty Jones of Sandwich, MA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Jones, a son, Jack L. Jones, and a sister, Gladys Frush.
