Anne Louise (Falls) Palsgrove, 90, of 1425 Philadelphia Avenue and formerly of 471 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Penn Hall Nursing Center.
Born July 30, 1924 in Bluefield, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Falls and a foster child of the late C.C. and Alberta Richardson. She attended Chambersburg schools. Her husband, Dale Palsgrove, whom she married October 1, 1941, died April 9, 2005. She was a manager of the former Wenger’s Dress Shop in Chambersburg for a number of years. She also did volunteer work at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Mrs. Palsgrove was a member of First United Methodist Church in Chambersburg, where she volunteered in many capacities. She was a member of the national and local chapters of AARP and the Golden Age Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Roberta (wife of Robert) Windemuth of Chambersburg, and a son, Frederick D. (husband of Anita) Palsgrove, of Pemiquid, Maine.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11:00 AM Friday, April 24, 2015 at Lincoln Cemetery.
