Annette K. Rubeck, age 50, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her home. Born November 6, 1963 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary J. Hanes Tritle.
A 1981 graduate of CASHS, Annette worked in retail management for C.J. Banks and Hallmark. She enjoyed traveling, the holidays, baking Christmas cookies, listening to country music, the oldies, Christmas music, and reading. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR and rooting for Tony Stewart and Dale Jarrett.
Annette is survived by her husband of three years, Daniel M. Rubeck, Jr., whom she married on June 6, 2011; two children, Heather A. Lowe and husband Joshua of Chambersburg, and Derek R. Pheil of Fayetteville; two step-sons, Neil D. Rubeck and Kyle D. Rubeck, both of Fayetteville; step-granddaughter, Cheyenne Plank; two siblings, Karen Ott and husband Roger of Chambersburg and Jeffrey Tritle and wife Debra of Chambersburg; and Annette’s mother-in-law, Hilda L. Rubeck of Waynesboro.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Marion 1st United Methodist Church, 94 Colorado Street, Marion, PA. Rev. Chris Renner and Pastor Bruce Henneman will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marion 1st United Methodist Church, P.O.
