Anthony Torina

Anthony F. Torina, 65, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 29, 1950 in Johnstown, PA, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Sara DiGuardi Torina. Anthony served with the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, retiring in 2015 with more than thirty years of federal service. A devout Catholic, he was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #842 in Chambersburg and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed jogging.

He is survived by his former wife, Carol Torina of Daytona Beach, FL; two sons, Travis K. Torina of Minnesota and Matthew J. Torina of Daytona Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Nicholas and Frank; and two sisters, Phyllis and Catherine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Dominic M. DiBiccaro at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. Private inurnment will be in the mausoleum at Richland Cemetery in Johnstown, PA.
