Arthur Newman

Arthur F. Newman, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away at the Chambersburg Hospital on Friday, October 2, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 5, 1937, he was the son of the late Arthur Edward and Camille Marie Fittipaldi Newman.
Surviving is his wife of 39 years, Peggy Zeigenfuss Newman, whom he married in Philadelphia on March 6, 1976; his daughter, Kristina Newman Ryan (husband Daniel) of Meadowbrook, PA; four granddaughters, Allison, Katie, Molly, and Delaney Ryan; and a brother in law, Larry Zeigenfuss (wife Linda) of Annapolis, MD; and a niece, several nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 2 PM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA; where Rev. Fr. Dominic DiBiccaro will celebrate. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011,Washington, DC 20090-6011.
