Ashley D. Brechbiel, age 26, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 12, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born July 19, 1987 in Waynes boro, PA, she was the daughter of Donald E. Brechbiel (wife Lori) and the late Angela M. Runyon Brechbiel.
Ashley was a 2006 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She most recently worked at the Olive Garden Restaurant in Chambersburg, PA. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, spending time with family and friends and her cat, Bella.
In addition to her father and step-mother, she is survived by her partner, Jennifer Thomas of Shippensburg, PA; three siblings, Donald A. Brechbiel of Greencastle, PA, Jeremy D. Brechbiel of Lake Park, GA, Chelsea J. Brechbiel of Fayetteville, PA ; maternal grandmother, Peggy L. Baker of Greencastle, PA and step-grandmother, Shirley Rock of Pond Bank, PA.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11 AM at the Fayetteville Church of God, 5276 Trehers Rd, Fayetteville, PA 17222, where Pastor Richard Egolf will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Orrstown Bank, c/o Donald E. Brechbiel to help defray funeral expenses.
