Barbara Baker

Barbara C. “Sis” Baker, 75, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Friday evening, October 10, 2014. Born July 7, 1939 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Florence McKee Ewan. She was a 1957 graduate of the Chambersburg High School. A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Baker enjoyed gardening, quilting, and travel. She loved visiting with her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of King Street United Brethren Church.

Surviving are her husband, John W. Baker, whom she married December 9, 1968; her son, Michael J. Baker and wife Cynthia of Belton, TX; two grandchildren, Michelle and Brandon Baker; two sisters, Ruth Zelonis of Chambersburg and Diane Hostetter and husband Clair of Waynesboro, and a brother, James Ewan and wife Linda of St. Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Donald.

Services and interment will be private.
