Barry R. Spahr, 63, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 in Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill, PA. Born March 31, 1958 in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of Doris (Diffenderfer) Spahr and the late William Spahr who passed away June 14, 1989.
He was a graduate of Bethel Park High School with the Class of 1977. In his younger years Barry was a talented athlete and golfer. He was employed in the home improvement industry throughout his lifetime. Barry applied his talent and passion in designing and implementing all types of home improvements.
In addition to his mother he is survived by a step-son, Peter MacBeth of Carmel, IN; a step-grandson, Ethan; his fiancé and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Lee Spahr; his brother Jeffrey Spahr and his twin brother, Gary Spahr.
A graveside service will be held, 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201 with Pastor Randy Rhodes officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Cancer Charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
