Beryl Ross

Beryl V. Ross, age 94, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Providence Place. Born February 14, 1924, in Luthers Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Cora Carman Strope.
A 1940 graduate of Towanda High School, Mrs. Ross went on to work in Data Entry for Baltimore County. She was a member of Zephyr Christian Church in Florida and had attended Mr. Pleasant United Brethren Church. Mrs. Ross enjoyed bowling, golf, pinochle and various other card games.
Surviving are three children, Roy A. Ross (wife Helen) of Baldwin, MD; Cheryl Metzger of Chambersburg, PA; and Robert Ross (wife Jeannie) of Perry Hall, MD, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Clifford Ross in 1989, a son-in-law John Metzger, and siblings, Louise and Allen.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, at 1 PM at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E. Padonia Rd, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
