Betty P. Felmlee, age 68, of Fannettsburg, PA; passed away in her home on Friday, April 8, 2011. Born February 25, 1943 in Chambersburg, PA; she was the daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Thelma I. Parmer.
Betty was a 1961 graduate of Fannett-Metal, after graduation she married her high school sweetheart, Matthew E. Felmlee who preceded her in death in 1996. She enjoyed crafts, watching TV, and working the family farm with her husband.
Surviving are her children, Cynthia Fix (husband Timothy); Michael Felmlee (wife Tracey); Daryl Felmlee (Courtenay) all of Fannettsburg, PA and Todd Felmlee of Harrisburg, PA; nine grandchildren, Nikki Burdge (husband Mark), Brandy McClure (husband Chad); Stacy Wolf (husband Steve); Keri Daniel (husband Cole); Tiffany Fix; Tyler and Kayla Brown; and Hope and Matthew Felmlee; nine great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Linda Miller (Don Pensinger) of Ft. Loudon, PA and Nancy McMullen (husband Gerald) of Exton, PA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Parmer.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 2 PM in the Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA; where Rev. Marlin A. “Butch” Neil will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral. Interment will follow in Lower Path Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Metal Township Fire and Ambulance Company, C/O Michelle Junkin, PO Box, Fannettsburg, PA 17221.
