Betty McCleary

Betty B. McCleary, age 86, of Fayetteville, PA; passed away in her home on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Born January 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Banks.
Mrs. McCleary worked at the H.J. Heinz Company and at Knouse Foods throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with family, helping with dinners at the Fayetteville Fire Hall, and helping her son as an assistant treasurer to him at the Fire Hall; when he was treasurer.
Surviving are her son Robert C. “Bob” McCleary (Lori) of Fayetteville, PA; a sister, Jane Iser of St. Thomas, PA; her cousins, Dave and Perry Flory and their children, Diana Flory and Kristen Flory; and Robert and Sue Flory, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, October 28, 2011 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Interment is scheduled at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
