Beverley Faust

September 2, 1931 — January 5, 2012

Beverley Emerick Faust, a long-time resident of the Chambersburg area, died Thursday the 5th of January at the Chambersburg Hospital as a result of complications from pneumonia, at the age of 80. Born on September 2, 1931 in Bellwood, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Emma Catherine (Weaver) Wogan.

Beverley had been employed by the Chambersburg Area School District in the administration office as head bookkeeper, a career she enjoyed for 42 years. She was a member of the King Street Church and attended services at the Brethren Fellowship and loved singing in the choir.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Faust and two step-daughters, Robin Faust-Hambright, and Debra (Jere) Stouffer. She is also survived and greatly missed by 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Alicia and Scott; 2 great-grandchildren, Morgan and Devyn; and one nephew and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James I. Emerick; her brother, Hayward Wogan; her sister, Catherine (Wogan) Davis; and her nephew, Edward Davis.

Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery in Bellwood on Tuesday January 10, 2012. A memorial service will be held at the Brethren Fellowship on Saturday, January 14 at 11:00am. Pastor Manny Diaz will officiate. Friends will be received in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
