Beverly "Becky" Morningstar

Beverly "Becky" (Six) Morningstar, 83, died on Thursday morning, February 27, 2025, at SpiriTrust Lutheran The Village of Luther Ridge. Born June 26, 1941, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Whipp) Six and Aldine P. Six. 

Becky was a 1959 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and a 1962 graduate of the Washington County Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at the Washington County Hospital; Dr. Max Byrkit's office, Williamsport, MD. Becky also was a certified College Health Nurse at the Student Health Center at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA and loved caring for the students. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chambersburg, PA. Becky loved flowers and enjoyed nothing more than sharing them with friends.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, David S. Morningstar, whom she married in 1965; two daughters Mandy Morningstar, and Jennifer D. Morningstar, both of Chambersburg, PA; granddaughter, Brooke Tucker and husband Nate of Mercersburg, PA; one sister, Cathy McDaniels and her husband Gary of Pennsboro, WV; and many nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 431 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor Barbara Berry will officiate.
