Beverly L. Cooper, 85, of Fayetteville, PA passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in the Chambersburg Hospital surrounded by her family. Born July 8, 1938 in Waynesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Mildred (Marshall) Chamberlin.
She was a graduate of Quincy High School with the Class of 1955. Beverly was employed as a registered nurse at the Chambersburg Hospital, retiring in 2003 after 38 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Quincy. Beverly loved traveling with her family and friends, cross stitching, gardening, working crossword puzzles, attending local tea parties, outings with her close friends the “Turtle Group” and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Beverly was an avid reader with an ever-growing collection of books. She also enjoyed volunteering with AARP during tax season.
She is survived by four children, Beth Hoch (Richard) of Pinellas Park, FL, Daniel Snoke (Martha) of Catonsville, MD, David Snoke (Tracy) of Chambersburg and Pamela Radcliffe (Daniel) of Pace, FL; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Melinda Kelley (Tim) of Mont Alto, PA; her beloved cat, Evinrude; and a number of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. Cooper, Jr. and a son, William “Bill” Snoke.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
