Bobby Hockenberry

Bobby L. Hockenberry, 61, of Doylesburg, PA, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Pinnacle Health Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg. Born May 8, 1953 in Metal Township, PA, he was a son of the late Oliver L. and Loraine Horne Hockenberry. Bobby was employed at Knouse Foods for over 30 years. Bobby was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Brady.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Crowe Hockenberry, whom he married September 15, 1973; two children, Brian L. Hockenberry and wife Danielle of Doylesburg and Annette Whitsel and husband Terry of Altoona; a grandson, Brady R. Hockenberry; five sisters, Eva Rhodes of McConnellsburg, Barb Clark of Ft. Loudon, Lois Hammond of Willow Hill, Bonnie Harnish of McConnellsburg, and Brenda Seibert of Shippensburg; and five brothers, Fred of Alabama, Randall of Orrstown, Mike of Willow Hill, Tim of McConnellsburg, and Jeff of Chambersburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Shatzer.
