Bonnie E. (Smith) Dell, 86, of Ft. Loudon, PA, passed away Friday morning, April 13, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle, Hanover, PA. Born April 21, 1931 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Kathleen McKonley Smith. She was a 1948 graduate of the former Eichelberger High School in Hanover. Early in her life she was employed at Ben’s Clothing Store and had managed a uniform shop in Hanover. She retired from the Lakeview Motel and Restaurant in Fannettsburg where she had worked as a cook for many years. She enjoyed cooking; spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; attending the Ft. Loudon Senior Center; and traveling to the beach with her family. Her husband, William H. “Bill” Dell, whom she married July 12, 1964, preceded her in death on March 13, 2018.

She is survived by two daughters, Kay Overbaugh of Bonneauville and Cande Fulco (husband Louis) of Hanover; her son, William “Jake” Dell, II (wife Lori) of Ft. Loudon; six grandchildren, Dawn (husband Dennis), Brian, Joshua (wife Chris), Nicholas (fiancé Morgan), Chester (wife Bethany), and Billy; and five great-grandchildren, Cody, Lilly, Sophie, Jace, and Colton. She is also survived by three sisters, Loretta “Peggy” Smith (husband John) of McSherrystown, Donna Nace (husband Dean) of Hanover, and Linda Wentz “Pink” of Hanover. An infant sister, Kay, preceded her in death.

In accord with Bonnie’s wishes there will be no service.
