Bonita L. "Bonnie" McDonald, 77, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 in the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehab Center. Born on June 5, 1939 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late William P. McDonald Sr. and Elizabeth “Eva” Cramer McDonald. Bonnie is survived by two brothers, Richard L. “Wimp” McDonald (and wife, Maxine) of Hagerstown, MD and Robert E. McDonald, Sr., of Chambersburg; two sisters-in-law, Helen McDonald and June McDonald, both of Chambersburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Lynn McDonald; infant brother, Charles W. McDonald, brothers Jack T. "Suds" McDonald and William P. "Mope" McDonald Jr., and two sisters, Peggy E. (McDonald) Reynolds and Betty J. (McDonald) Kennedy. Bonnie will be remembered as an avid Baltimore Orioles fan. She also enjoyed playing bingo and word search puzzles. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, in Lincoln Cemetery, with Pastor Denise Horn officiating.
