Bonnie Murray

Bonnie Lou Murray, age 66, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 2, 1946 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Mundorff and Pauline Davis Mundorff.
A homemaker most of her life, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially with her granddaughter. She was a 1964 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Bonnie worked as an assistant to her parents in her early years, working at The Homespun Inn in Chambersburg until it’s closing in 1973. She had a passion for animals, traveling, and shopping, especially on QVC. She loved QVC’c the Quacker Factory clothing.
Surviving is her son, Robert W. Murray of Chambersburg, PA; granddaughter, Makayla Murray; and a number of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Murray, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Rev. Rennis F. Bowers will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will follow the service in Norland Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 384 Floral Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
