Bradley S. Lucas, 44, of Chambersburg, PA, went home to God on Monday, December 13, 2021, at the Chambersburg Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Born July 19, 1977, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Theodore and Denise Lucas. Bradley was a graduate of Chambersburg High School, where he participated in Glee Club, Choristers, and Esquires. Musically talented, he loved playing the guitar, singing, and composing his own songs. In addition, Brad enjoyed biking, walking the Chambersburg Rail-Trail, hiking, art, photography, computer gaming, cats (especially Care Bear), and flying with his dad. He was most recently employed by the Chambersburg Recreation Department and delighted in his exchanges with those who regularly strolled through Memorial Park as he worked.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Brenton (Jennifer); his fiancée, Carol Blair and her children, Ysabel and Damon Bilbao; his aunts, Mary Louise Lucas, Shirley Lucas, Kay Kane (Larry); uncles, Jeffrey Lucas (Denise), Gary Dambach; cousins, Cindy Bowen (Bill), Jennifer Pond (Rob), Nathan Lucas (Amber), Neil Kane.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11AM on Monday, December 20, 2021, at First United Methodist Church of Chambersburg, 225 S. Second Street. Visitation with the family from 9:30-11AM will precede the service at the church. Per church policy masks are requested but not required. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army, Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, or United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
