Brenda Galbraith

Brenda Faye Galbraith, 65, a lifelong resident of Nutter Fort, WV died September 12, 2014 at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center after a devastating stroke. Brenda was the daughter of the late Edward L. Welch and E. Louise Jamison Welch, also of Nutter Fort.

She worked many jobs in the area to include Vincent Memorial Church secretary and cashier at Food Lion in Nutter Fort. She enjoyed arts & crafts and tending to her countless plants and flowers. She will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends.

Brenda is survived by a son, Timothy Nicholas and wife Christina of Pennsylvania; a daughter Judy Nicholas and fiancé Harlan McCarthy of Pennsylvania; step-daughter Tara O’Leary of Maine; and a brother Douglas Welch and wife Beth of Virginia. Brenda also leaves grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family to mourn her loss. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jay P. Galbraith on July 2, 2014.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at Vincent Memorial Methodist Church, 401 Indiana Avenue, Nutter Fort, WV on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 3:00PM. The Rev. Sam Cale III will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery, Mt Clare.
