Brian E. Helman, 51, of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. Born December 17, 1965 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Darlene K. Helman and the late Donald E. Helman.
Brian was a 1984 graduate of CASHS. He was US Navy veteran and throughout his tour of duty, he traveled to many different countries on the USS America. He was the recipient of numerous achievement medals and earned sailor of the month recognition. Brian was employed as a supply parts manager at B-Wise Manufacturing, LLC in Chambersburg. His passion was deer hunting and he took many hunting trips out west. He also loved racing with his friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Brittaney Marie Helman of Denver, IA and Kendon Tyler Helman of Shade Gap, PA; two granddaughters, Payton and Parker; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
