Brian Travis High, 58, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 3, 1964 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late William E. High, Sr. and Carol Travis High.
Brian was a 1982 graduate of CASHS. A US Army veteran, he served honorably for three years. Following his service in the army, Brian was employed at Grove Manufacturing and most recently as a weld shop supervisor with Shippensburg Pump Company. He enjoyed cars, loved to cook, and traveling.
Brian and his wife, Pamela J High, met in 2002. They were married on October 6, 2016. He is also survived by three children, Travis High of Dallas, TX, Michael High (wife Maria) of Puerto Rico, and Tiffany Nichole Shaffer of Fayetteville; three step-children, Jared Varner (wife Billie) of August GA, Eric Varner (wife Corrie) of Augusta, GA, and Chelsea Varner of Baltimore, MD; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and two siblings, Teresa Meck (husband Troy) of Fayetteville, and William E. High, Jr. (wife Ingrid) of Dunkirk, MD.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
