C. Claire Rozzi, 70, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 7, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Anne Cassano D’Agostino. Clair worked throughout her lifetime assisting people in need. She was employed by various school districts on Long Island, NY as a Teacher’s Aide and she worked with challenged children at the Board of Cooperative Educational Services as an administrative assistant. She also worked for many years at a drug and rehabilitation facility as the administrative assistant to the facility’s director. She was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church where she served on various committees. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Clair was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her quick wit, and the love and caring that she showed for others. She enjoyed growing plants and watching birds.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald J. Rozzi, whom she married February 8, 1991; two children, Thomas Engel (wife Krystal) and Kristin Engel; her step-son, Michael R. Rozzi (wife Holly); five grandchildren, Duncan, Malyn, Niko, Kyle, and Vivian; two brothers, Frank D’Agostino (wife Betsy) and Matthew D’Agostino (wife Nina); and two nieces.
Services and interment will be private.
