C. Jean Tosten Trace, 80, formerly of Fayetteville, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Menno Haven of Chambersburg. Born on November 3, 1935 in Keedysville, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Raymond Tosten and Mary Elizabeth Ketterman Tosten. Jean married James C. “Jim” Trace on March 7, 1964, and they would spend 52 years together until Jim’s passing this past Saturday, April 16th. They are survived by a son Jeffrey L. Trace (Lynne) of New Bloomfield, PA; two granddaughters, Heather D. Donovan (Shaun) and Lindsey H. Trace (Lisa); and one great grandson, Keegan M. Donovan. Jean also leaves behind one brother John R. Tosten (Naomi) of Hagerstown, MD. Jim and Jean were also loved by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, William D. Tosten. Retired since 1997, Jean worked for Sprint Telecommunications where she managed dispatch repairs. She was a member and past president of the local chapter of the American Business Women's Association, member and past president of AARP 2840, and a former member of the Chambersburg noontime Kiwanis. She and Jim were also members of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. A memorial service to honor the lives of Jean and Jim will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, April 28th in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road Chambersburg, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in Lincoln Cemetery will be private. The family will provide flowers for the Memorial Service.
