Carl Adams

Carl Edward Adams, age 84, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away in the Chambersburg Hospital on Monday, June 5, 2017. Born February 7, 1933, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late James Edward Adams and Ethel Dorothea Peters Adams.
Carl was a 1951 graduate of the former Chambersburg High School. On October 24, 1952, he married Patricia Arlene Pool Adams, who passed away on December 13, 2012. Mr. Adams worked as a machinist at Mack Truck, where he retired in 1991. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church, the Golden Bulldogs, and Penn National Golf Course. He enjoyed golfing and traveling with his late wife.
Surviving are sons, Brian Edward Adams of Chambersburg, PA and Timothy James Adams (wife Connie Sue) of Fayetteville, PA; two grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Propst (husband Keith) of Chambersburg, PA and James Allen Adams of Fayetteville, PA; and three great-grandchildren, Tanner, Spencer, and Bridget Propst. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Carl Lee Adams and a great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Propst.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 9th at 2:30 PM at Bethel Assembly of God Church, 400 Miller Street, Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Aaron Lawrence will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service on Friday at the above church. Interment will follow the service in Norland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
