Carol Cassell

Carol Ann Cassell, age 65, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Saturday morning, March 21, 2015 at Hershey Medical Center. Born July 17, 1949 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Lurene I. McClure Gearhart. Her husband, Robert A. Cassell, preceded her in death on September 9, 2005.

Carol worked as a restaurant manager for most of her adult life. She had an infectious smile, was fun loving, and was always the life of the party. She loved her family and enjoyed camping, Elvis Presley, and collecting JFK newspaper clippings and memorabilia.

Carol is survived by two children, Terza L. Ramsey (husband Scott) of Chambersburg, and Roger J. Shaw of Northumberland Co., PA; and four grandchildren, Kyle, Kaylee, and Kolby Ramsey, and Dakota Shaw.

A graveside service to honor Carol’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Culler will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
