Carol E. Schulden, 92, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 25, 1930 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI she was the daughter of the late John R. and Helen (Justeson) Hoesman.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Bay City University, Bay City, MI. Carol was a kindergarten teacher for most of her life teaching in various different states throughout her career. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Carol was very family oriented taking care of her parents later in their lives.
She is survived by two children, Cathy Schwartz and her husband Marshal of Winchester, VA and John Schulden and his wife Christine of New Jersey; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Veronica, Emily, Zachary, Holly, Sommer and Shena; two sisters, Maxine Hodges and Alice Murphy; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother John Hoesman and a sister Helen Street.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
