Catherine Davis

Catherine F. Reid Davis, age 89, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 26, 2016 at her home. Born in Newtown Platten, Ireland on February 25, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Green Reid.
A homemaker most of her adult life, Mrs. Davis enjoyed her pet cats, donating to various charitable organizations, bird watching, and most of all politics. She was a steadfast supporter of the Tea Party. She was supporting and hoping for a Trump win in November. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Surviving are her sisters-in-law, Shirley Brubaker, Carol Sarver, Gloria Seacrest, and Simi Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Corpus Christi Catholic Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
