Charla Miracle

Charla H. Miracle, 75, of Chambersburg, PA, died Saturday morning, December 8, 2012 in Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 22, 1937 in Frederick, OK, she was a daughter of the late Loyd W. and Ruth Hicks Hasenmyer. She was employed as head of the Hematology Department at Chambersburg Hospital, retiring after twenty-seven years of service. Mrs. Miracle was a member of The Presbyterian Church of the Falling Spring in Chambersburg.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy L. Miracle, whom she married January 25, 1959; four sons, James L. Miracle of Marietta, PA, Bryan A. Miracle of Chambersburg, Anthony K. Miracle and wife Dynel of Chambersburg, and Phillip Miracle and wife Krista of Chambersburg; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Judith Gray of Lawton, OK. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne Taylor.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 2:00PM in the chapel of The Presbyterian Church of The Falling Spring, 221 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Mark A.Medina and Rev. Dr. William H. Harter will officiate. Friends will be received after the service at the church’s Family Life Center.
