Charles F. King, Jr., 60, of Fayetteville, PA and formerly of York, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chambersburg. Born November 6, 1956 in York, he was a son of Charles F., Sr. and June Hoke King of Fayetteville. He was a graduate of York Suburban High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University. Charlie was employed as an accountant with H&R Block in York for more than twenty-five years. He operated a second-hand paperback book stand for forty years at Eastern Market in York.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Dr. Robert N. King of Rochester, NY.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:30 PM Monday, June 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Sharon Kelly, PhD. will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
