Charles McGilloway

Charles F. McGilloway, 76, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at his home. Born March 9, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Patrick and Margaret Brennan McGilloway. Charles graduated from high school in Brooklyn and served with the US Navy aboard the USS Leyte. He retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in New York, NY.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen Sheehan McGilloway; two brothers, Patrick McGilloway and wife Rosemary of Manchester, NJ and Eugene McGilloway and wife Geraldine of Holmdel, NJ; and his sister, Margaret Murphy and husband George of Brooklyn, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Raymond Levoie at 10:00 AM Friday, November 20, 2015 at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 1095 Chapel Road, Orrtanna, PA. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.
