Charles N. “Champ” Quivers, 59, of Chambersburg, PA, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 17, 1953 in Chambersburg, he was a son of John and Margaret Rideout Quivers, of Chambersburg.
Charles was a 1973 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and was last employed at Target in Chambersburg. He attended John Wesley AME Zion Church.
Aside from his parents he is survived by three brothers, Jeffery A. Quivers of Cincinnati, OH, Steven M. Quivers and Thomas C. Quivers, both of Chambersburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, John E. Quivers Jr., William L. “Bill” Quivers, Gary Lee Quivers, Sr., and a nephew, William L. Quivers, II.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at John Wesley AME Zion Church, Chambersburg, PA, with Rev. Dr. Allie Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM at the church on Wednesday.
