Charles R. “Chuck” Yaukey, 58, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Born October 25, 1963 in Chambersburg he was the son of Marilyn (Divens) Yaukey of Chambersburg and the late Linn R. Yaukey.
He was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 1981. Chuck then went on to obtain his associates degree in forestry from Penn State. In 1994 he took over his family business, Ty Construction Company, Chambersburg as the owner and operator.
Chuck was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and boating. He went on numerous hunting trips throughout the United States and Canada. In his later years he enjoyed gardening. Chuck was a life member of First Lutheran Church of Chambersburg as well as a member of the Shriners Club.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beth A. (Geyer) Yaukey; three children, Ethan Yaukey and his wife Stina, Megan Short and her husband Dakota, and Ben Yaukey; a sister, Denise Heinbaugh and her husband Dennis; and three nieces, Daneen Morrison, Devyn Heinbaugh and Darlanna Meckley. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Jeffrey Yaukey and twins, Todd and Brad Yaukey.
Services will be private. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
