Charlotte Reasner

Charlotte Elizabeth “Libby” Hoch Reasner, 95, formerly of Fayetteville, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Born on October 16, 1918, in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lester David and Lucy Catherine Reeder Hoch.
Libby retired in 1975 after teaching 35 years, most of which were served at Andrew Buchanan Elementary School as a first grade teacher. She was a lifelong member of Central Presbyterian Church, very active for many years as a church school teacher, a member of the Senior Choir, and a member of the Senior Bell Choir. For twenty-five years, she was an active volunteer at The Chambersburg Hospital, helped with Meals on Wheels and volunteered most of her years living at Menno Haven.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 ½ years John G. Reasner, on May 10, 2009. Libby is the last of her immediate family.
Services will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Menno Haven Benevolent Fund, 2011 Scotland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
